The Consequence of Parental Failure
The transition from Joshua’s generation to a new, faithless one. While Israel served the LORD during the lives of Joshua (who died at 110) and the elders who witnessed God's miracles, a subsequent generation arose that did not know the LORD or His works.

February is more than a historical look-back; it is a sacred recognition of how God has moved through the lives of those who fought for justice, preached equality, and built foundations of hope where none existed. We celebrate the spiritual pioneers and unsung heroes who transformed their trials into triumphs, reminding us that our present is built upon their courage.
Throughout February, we invite you to engage with our special services, as we celebrate the rich tapestry of Black history and the enduring spirit of excellence.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support our fundraiser! Thanks to this incredible community, the event was a total, 100% success! We are absolutely blown away by the energy and the turnout.

Baptism represents identification with Christ: Baptism mirrors Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection.
Going under the water symbolizes dying to sin; rising represents a new life in Him.
Sign up for our Pre-Baptism Discipleship Session! This meeting is designed to help you get fully prepared and to provide a confidential space for all your questions to be answered.
In the sermon, Pastor McKay emphasizes that the true identity of a believer is revealed through their actions toward others, specifically through the lens of divine love and intentional kindness. A central point is that showing love and kindness, mirrors the character of Christ to the world. This outward behavior is what truly "shows who you are" to those around you.
Faith, as taught by Rev. Kenneth McKay, is the essential foundation for pleasing God, activating His promises, and providing the power and discernment needed to live the Christian life according to His specific instructions.
Welcome to a weekly edition of Meet Our Disciples Spotlight. Each week, we shine a light on our amazing members through Disciple Spotlight! 💡 It’s a fun and faith-filled segment where we ask questions about Sunday’s service, testing who was really paying attention 👀, and celebrating those who were tuned in to God’s Word! Through laughter, learning, and fellowship, we connect as a church family while keeping the message alive beyond Sunday. Every question helps us grow together in faith, unity, and understanding.
36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd. 37 then saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

In 2010, DOCCF took a bold step of faith and purchased its land, and just two years later, we joyfully celebrated paying it off! Construction of our Phase 1 - church building commenced in 2018, and by August 2019, our congregation had stepped into its beautiful new home with hearts full of praise.
In 2020, we added a peaceful prayer garden, a sacred space for reflection and renewal. Then in 2022, we dreamed even bigger, submitting plans for a 6,000-square-foot picnic pavilion designed to foster fellowship, laughter, and lasting community connections.
And the celebration didn’t stop there, because in January 2024, we made our final loan payment for Phase 1! The church is officially paid off, and we’re stepping boldly into the future, as the construction continues for Phase 2 - Picnic Pavilion, paying as we go, debt-free.

The church is officially paid off.
Thanks to your prayers, support, and unwavering faith, our journey is underway. Walls have gone up, foundations have been laid, and the vision is becoming reality. This is more than construction; it’s a movement of hope, unity, and growth.

Saturday, February 14, 10 AM - 12 NOON
